Go go go Santiago!

The watchtower of Santiago guards the village of Sabangan from the northern shore of the eponymous beach cove. It is circular in plan and is made from sandstone with lime mortar. The tower has a distinctive crenellation with pointed arch merlons, which is unique from the rest of the watchtowers in the country. Only half of the tower still exists due to erosion from the saltwater.
